Frame rot help/ideas
I've just bout done putting my floor pans in my 68 firebird,.now its time to start looking at the rest of the cancer in the car. Both side rockers (inner and outer), both rear inner wheel wells, and driver side frame rail. Sense the driver side rail is mostly gone I'm wondering has anyone used 2x3 or 2x4 tube to replace there frame rails? Planning on mini tubbing the rear so wheel wells are covered. But with tubs you need to cut the factory frame rails. Can I just move the frame over if I used square tubing? Any help or ideas is appreciated
