      Torq Thrusts vs. 200S

My 68 Firebird has 17" torq thrusts. Previous owner chose rears with 4" backspacing, and the fronts have dented rims (L.A. potholes can be brutal)! I'm thinking of swapping them for American Racing's 200S wheels.

      What are your thoughts?

the 200s look great, has an awesome old school mean look but to get the overall same effect you have to lower your car about 3" in front and 4" in the back to look close to that

I love the 200S. So much that I had some modern interpretations made (Way toooo long of a story!!). The '67 Camaro will be flat black with the center color Z28 stripes.

200S! Definenitely! Along with a healthy lowering as mentioned above. I had a set on my '73 Bird and sold them when I started Pro Streeting it...
Larry! Who made the "interpratations"? Are they going to be available? Curious people need to know...

      Those modern interpretations look amazing!

I almost went with some 200S on my truck because they too were available in 17x11 with custom backspacing.

There's nothing like building up an old automobile from scratch and wiping out one of these Detroit machines... That'll give you a set of emotions that will stay with you... Know what I mean? Those satisfactions are permanent...

      Sorry for the Highjack.

      Thanks Guys.
Astroracer: Hopefully they will never be made again. I wouldn't wish that experience on anyone (P.S. I enjoy seeing the progress on your build).

I gotta go with Torq Thrusts, but not the chrome or polished ones...
I prefer the Torq Thrust D's or O's (original).

200S's are going on my 68 and I'm gonna paint or powder coat the centers with a polished lip. It's a classic look that'l never go out of style!!
