I would love to see this car at this event,I read his build thread and its just a shame I have to work. I was down in Charlotte last fall for the Goodguys event down there and got to see the tempest and an el camino on the autocross, I talked my wife into getting into one of the cars and it just happend to be the el camino she got to ride in, I think his name was Matt if i remember correctly, anyways she loved the experience and is now on board with me getting my g-body cutlass done and she doesnt think its such a waste of money to build one of these cars. I was also at the Des Moines,IA Goodguys and only got to see the el camino do one run that saturday and I didnt get to stay for the sunday showing. Im stoked that people are starting to build these g-bodys and that they are showing up more and more often. So good luck Dan Ill be cheering for you.

I talked to Dan and checked out the car this weekend. It's fresh and once the bugs are out it should be a great car.

Finished third in the Real Street Eliminator shoot out for the late models over the weekend. Tied for second but lost the horsepower tie breaker. I got first in the launch box and third in the autocross. This was the second time in my life I've autocross.

Also look for a feature on it in Car Craft. What an honor to be selected.

Very cool car! I'd love to see more pictures of it. I saw the short autocross video that Jeff posted on Facebook the other day. I really like the 80's Monte body. It's great to see them finally coming of age.
