MAF sensor question

I have a 98 ls1 from a camaro with an SSR re worked harness and 2001 camaro computer that has a pig tail for a 02 pickup MAF 5 wire setup. My question is can I change the 5 wire plug to the credit card LS7 style MAF or is there different resistances among the different MAF sensors?

when running this setup what do I do about the ecm?

you have to get the ecu programed to work with the new maf setup. it says "Requires computer reprogramming"
