      Wayne due C4/72 Ventura

I ordered a C4 clip from Wayne. The 61 inch track width seems to be fine with the right wheel offset for the 69 camaros, but will I be able to get the tire under the car enough on the Ventura? Seems like the 69 camaro has a little more space under the front fender.

I sent you a PM in reply to your email, but I figured others might benefit from my response so I will post it here as well.

Track width is the same. Yeah--it has a lot to do with what brand wheel you plan to run. Custom backspacing is the norm. Lower price wheels offer limited backspace selection. So be prepared to step up.

I always get my fr/rr backspacing confused, so fr backspacing is either 5.5" or 5.75" on an 18"x8" wheel. I'm also running Baer "track" calipers and 13" rotors up front which leave plenty of clearance to the wheel. Someday, I'll mill the wheel mounting pads (offset) down .375" which would bring overall backspacing closer to 6" and improve scrub radius.
Our wheel arches are very different, but I think the subframe should be fine. You'll just make up the difference with careful wheel selection. Bigger diameter makes things easier, less width if necessary, and more backspacing/less offset as required. More static camber can help too.
      Good luck
      /Steve
