      need intake info

Looking to put together a ls motor for my camaro. I like the look of the polished aluminum intakes but can,t afford a Wilson or anything along that line. I've seen some by Professional Products, Pro-comp and one by Weiand. Just wanting to know if anyone could tell me anything about any of these or what to stay away from. Thanks for any help.

      What Motor? RPM range?
Edelbrock offers the endurashine finish on most of their intakes. I wouldn't be concerned with the "look" as long as the intake works for the combo I am putting together. That, really, should be your first concern.
I have never had an endurashine so I can't really comment on the longevity of the finish.

We prefer not to use the aluminum intakes for street cars. They tend to heat up the incoming air and don't do as well performance wise. I can understand them for looks but for performance we prefer something like and LS6 intake or a FAST.
