Scammers lurking here

I Put this in the want section as thats where I was approached but thought I would repost here to gain a wider audience.

I posted a want add https://www.pro-touring.com/showthrea...nifold-for-SBC and was aproached by a guy via email claiming he had one. then came the old line "and will accept payment via Western Union as my PayPal is currently dormant." when I asked for more information and photos he disappeared.

Remember sending money via western union is like throwing it in the air and hoping for the best.

So when buying or selling over the net keep in the back of your mind "is this a scam?"

Nice one...they're everywhere. I told my son the other night when he was thinking of buying something that had WU as the only payment option, that it was most likely a scam.
