      New guy with IROC-Z

      Hi guys,
This is Tommy from San Jose, CA. I have had my 1990 IROC-Z vert. for some time now. My goal for some time has been to make it into a pro touring demon! Some things that have been done to it so far are, Baer 13' Brakes all around, new suspension set up, agressive springs 800lbs in the front and 160 in the rear, adjustable Konis, racing seats...etc.

It is currently under construction again as I am installing a nasty 383 stroker backed by a viper spec T56. Should be fun times!

My senior high school days...ahhhh the memories! I'll always have a soft spot for these cars...and a vert...ooooooweeee! Come to think of it that may be only one of a handful of convertibles, of that vintage, I've even seen. I never really notice how few of the drop tops are around. Great car, and it looks like it's in SUUHHHWeeett condition!

After admiring the photo again I don't think you should change the wheels..keep them..they are so IROC. They just belong there!

Looks great! Sweet ride. Not too many Iroc verts made. My brother in-law had one. He had a tag surround made that said "Iroc Topless".
