new to forum from midwest
hi all ive been member of site for while but just now starting to get the hang of the posting..im building a 1969 rs camaro convertible and am from the chicago area ..anyone from the area ?..love to see your projects and share mine thanks..

Welcome to the site. There are a few members from the Chicago area. I am from Michigan so I am not too far from you. Do you have any pics of your RS?? Are you going to Woodward this year in Michigan?

yeah i have some pics..selling a 70 barracuda (its a basket case)monday ..then tuesday that money is going to pay for all my sheetmetal for the camaro..then its strip time..i believe that woodward thing is on a day im working..they always seem to be..how do i put the description of my car below my post and link to pics..still figuring this thing out..

Woodward is usually most of the weekend. Friday, sat, sunday.

Cool I checked them out. Looks like its in good shape for a Chicago area car. We bought our Mustang from there last year. The mustang body is the worst I have ever seen on a car.

thanks ..the guy i got the car from got it from iowa in like 1988 drove it a few times parked it in 92 ..it sat till 2000 when i got it from him..so its not to bad shape..the floors are soild..so are shock towers but the rest of the rear needs redone..so does front fenders..but im reusing the doors..i was trying to make one of them pics my avatar but cant figure out how to resize it small enough..lol..
