      265/35/18

I have read all the post's I could find. Some say they had 265/35/18 in the front on a first gen f-body, but not sure if they where stock clip or what the BS was. Any thoughts on this size. The plan is to run the nitto's 555 extremes 275/40's rear the 265 calls for a 9" wheel but is 1.33 shorter and 1/2 inch wider. Any thoughts on this would be great, I plan on ordering my boze wheels this week.

I'm running 265 35 15 on a 18x8.5" rim they are c6 replica rims and running spacers. They barely rub the frame under full lock. I am running 67 disc spindles and the hubs are wider than the drum hub so my backspacing won't help. I have a bunch of miles on them and a track day with auto cross and they work well. The only complain i have is they really "hunt the ruts". I am going to mess with the alignment a little and see if that helps.

I have a 68 with stock disc spindle and wilwood hub and rotor. How much spacer are you running?

FWIW I am running 245/40/18 Nitto 555's up front on 18x9 Foose Legends with 5" BS (stock spindle, Wilwood hubs) and had some rubbing at full lock under compression (i.e. backing out of driveway or turning into driveway). I have adjustable steering stops on my LCA's and had to adjust them to prevent the rubbing.

Your wheel/tires will be .4" shorter but .8" fatter, so you are going to have to nail the BS if it's going to work.
