Last night was a blast. A few guys getting a tune-up for saturday. We have shade and water in the pits for the drivers too. Check in and tech start at 8 am. Early arrivals (8 - 9 am) will get a parade lap and be able to start hot lapping first thing. We have some drift demo's at lunch and mid afternoon, with ride alongs. Also, a couple of guys are bringing out SouthWest Tour cars for a few laps, counter-clockwise, should be fun to watch.

It's a damn good thing we took the Camaro last night. That would have sucked to have the fuel pump go out on Saturday.

We started loading the trailer today. Star Auto Parts just dropped a bunch of goodies for the registrant bags. I am starting to get excited.

Oh yeah, and I threw together a short video from Tuesday night.

Im finally home and settled in from a great day out at Adams Motorsports Park. What a fun day full of surprises. Im giddy like a school girl... On cloud Nine about how things unfolded today. I thought I was just going out to hang out with my son and watch some awsome PT muscle rip around the track.

Thanks to Rob at No Limits I got alot more than I bargained for. And I think I may have ended up with the better end of the stick.

So I started a little story about how a day at the So Cal Challenge can make you giddy like a school girl and be on cloud nine all in one at http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=32226 Starts at page 24 and Post #234. Please follow along as I tell how the story unfolds.

Big thanks goes out to all those who sponsor and put this event on. As I have said before, it is one of the best deals for a driving event in So Cal.

      Brett

Congrats Bret, It was definitely a wild ending of the day for you and Casey.

I remember thinking early in the day......"What the hell, Bret painted his car orange?"

Funny J, I was thinking the same thing and then....what I didn't bring my car.

Again thanks again for letting me use some the great shots in my story thread. Much appreciated for the hard work you put in to post those up so quickly. Cheers.

I just wanted to say what a blast out there I had. I appreciate you guys letting me run out there. I know I have a lot of work to do but I hope I didn't get in anyone’s way too much. Thanks again.

Hey Rob and all who helped put this on just want to throw out my late "thank you" for a great time, everything was awesome except for the heat. Wanted to bring the convertible 69 Barracuda but no roll bar, so bought and brought the 3 day old Mustang GT! Dead stock except for a quick set of Eibachs, had a blast, ran a 47.57 and was 6th in qualifying before my 13yr old son overheated.... Again thanks for a fun afternoon with my kid and alot of V8 thunder. Here's some go-pro in car footage: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oOBhwFXO0mA
