      2010 GT500 Hell Snake!

Thought I show you guys a car that my shop just finished a while back. I paint a lot of parts for a guy that owns a company named Bangastang. Late model mustang accessories. The customer called us looking for a paint shop that could do what he wanted, a custom mustang that he can show and go in. After talking with him he decided to ship his car to California from Wyoming. After receiving it he asked us if we could have the car ready for a big car show in Las Vegas? (Shelby Bash). That would leave us right about 30 days to do a complete make over.

We removed all the vinyl stripes and sanded the complete car fixed all the dings and waves. We desided to changed the look of the stripes by going with one wide stripe over the two it came in with. We also added a red pin stripe to give it a little contrast.

There was a ton of custom parts including, carbon hood, roof, trunk, rear spoiler, front splitter, mirrors, lower rockers, and lots more carbon inside.

We added custom made billet pieces through out the engine compartment, the hood louvers, badges, and pieces through out the interior.

The underside of the hood has a custom air brushed Cobra Snake with true fire flames around it. Since the owner is in the fire extinguisher business it only seems appropriate.
Oh yeah, and a custom halon fire suppression system for the engine bay.

The headlight and tail lights were smoked to help tone down the bright look and give it a stealthy look.

The engine had an upgraded blower and pulleys along with a custom throttle body and a few other goodies that dynoed just under 700 to the rear wheels. The owner wanted it to be a reliable driver on pump gas so we had to lower the boost down a little from 18/20 down to 12lbs. We removed all the interior and had it recovered in swede and leather with stripes to mimic the paint job.

We also did suspension upgrades including sway bars, coil overs to get the car down for that aggressive look, to go along with the 6 piston Brembo brakes.

When we finished the car we invited a few friends over to the shop for the unveiling. The owner didn't make it due to unforeseen problems but was there the next day to pick it up and haul it to Vegas. He was so stoked about the car and was eager to get it on the road. That weekend they had all the cars together for awards and his car won Best Of Show!

Here are a few pictures and a little video showing the car. This was one of those project that I'll remember for a long time. The owner was so cool to work with and everything came out great. We did have our hiccups during the build but who doesn't doing a custom car in a short time frame.

We are expecting it to show up in a couple of magazines soon as they were here for the whole build taking pictures.
