      My Wedding Present!

      Hello All,

I am excited, my wedding present is almost complete. What is Hot-Rodding without a place to park? I could not believe this when the little woman suggested it! Damn, I love her!

Does she have a cute sister?

Seriously though, that garage looks AWESOME! Congrats on the new home for the toys, and on the marriage!

You guys read my mind!! DAMN!! I got a three car garage but it is under my house with low ceilings. I would kill to be able to have 12.6 ft ceilings just for a lift!!!!

The garage looks nice, but more important, SHE is surely a KEEPER.

My wife and I keep going back and forth on what I can and cannot have. She says no garage will be bigger than the house...(2200 sq ft)

That leaves a LOT of room to play

I have just started looking at some plans....and if it isn't TOO personal, would you mind sharing a general ballpark of what something like that might cost to put up? I know a guy with a 2000 sq ft shop with air compressor lines run, lots of insulation and all 1 floor....heat and air conditioned, that ran 100k, and i REALLY hope it wont be that much for me to have mine.

Jody, can I send you my wife's phone number? You have your wife call my wife to talk her into letting me build one. :icon996:

I know why she wanted to give me a garage for my wedding present. She has a 2 door Belair '55 Chevy with only 7,400 original miles. Yes, only 7,400 miles and she said she wants it on the top bunk of a stacker. She said, nothing is to drip on her baby!!!! I said NO problem honey!!!!!!! Sometimes the '55 is mine but, only when it needs to be worked on! Yes, there is a price to pay with everything! I'm not complaning!

awesome garage Jody, love those HIGH ceilings and the storage shelf idea. If my garage was like that, I'd never come in the house.

I clicked on your "toy box" link and your '69 Camaro is tops! I am a big fan of the first generation Camaros. What color is she?

Dang man, nice garage. Install a bathroom and some appliances and it would make a hell of a nice apartment. I can be ready to move in by the 1st of the month...
