Hello, new guy here

Hello all, names Kyle, and I'm from western NewYork (by Rochester) Found this site from a random google image search, lurked for a bit n decided to register up. I'm enjoying all the projects people post, it's actually giving me ambition to work on mine.

I currently have a '73 AMC Gremlin that's currently being used for a daily driver till the end of summer, at which point I'll be puttin her away and ripping out the 232 six for a more youth friendly 360 ci AMC motor.

Eventually I want to put a 4 speed t 10 (or, if I can't find one, a 5 speed AX 15 from a jeep) in it.

Thread would probably benefit from some pics, eh?













Has some rust in the rear 1/4's, and the front fender is crinkled (plan on getting fiberglass replacements) but all in all it's pretty solid. Not bad for what I paid for it, especially considering it's been one of my dream cars since I was in highschool.

Hey Kyle, welcome to the site. Gremlins are kool, there is at least one build being documented here. A friend of mine had one we were going to put a 401 into but the rust "gremlins" got to it in a bad way.
Post some pics and start gathering parts.
