1969 Camaro LS1 project

My son and I have been building his 1969 Camaro for the past couple of years, and we're finally nearing the end of the project. It's been great spending time together, working together and watching him grow up. We started when he was only 15, and now at 17 we're nearly done. We installed an LS1 motor from an '03 Vette and a 4L60e transmission. The car came back from the bodyshop with LeMans blue paint and silver stripes a couple of weeks ago, and we're re-assembling now and hope to have it on the road in the next few weeks. Here are a few pictures of where we currently stand.

Car looks fantastic! I started mine when my son was 15 as well and he's currently 17. Car just got painted and we are assembling it now so I can relate to what your going through except we are not doing much of the work any more but he's still very involved with me throughout the process which makes it even cooler.
