axle play 10bolt
can anyone tell me what the maximum play should be between axle and posi. i have a eaton posi and superior axles all replacement for my camaros 10bolt, that i bought a couple years ago from summitracing. since i have swapped to my 5speed i realized that if i´m not under load i have a knock in the back when cruising. theres slight play in the ring&pinion but far more if i hold the differential and just move the axles/tires. the axle splines look like new so i would say no wear on them.

Only play in that direction should be gear lash, should be little. Are the C-clip axles shifting side to side causing a knock?
