      Buffing 67 F-body vent glass frames ???

Ok I earlier posted a thread about rechroming my vent window stuff. After a closer look it looks like I might be able to buff/polish them back to life. The main front support is no biggie to do. My concern is the glass frame. What's the best way to buff/polish it. Should I take the glass out then use a thin piece of something like OSB to fill in where the glass would be?? Or, just put some tape on the glass to protect it from the buffing wheel and buff it with the glass still installed ???

Leave the glass in the frame and just tape off the glass and buff it. K.I.S.S. method...lol
