      Penske Camaros

Just because some of you are not on FaceBook or follow my page:
      http://www.facebook.com/TonysSpeedShop

I thought I'd share this gem that I found online. Check out this old picture of the Penske Camaros. Some great details!

If you go to my FaceBook page, you'll also see some some of my other cool car interests. If you like GT40s you may like another gem that I shared a little bit ago.

Penske did ( and does ) such a great job at engineering and preparing their cars .
It's cool to see all the little things they did to those Trans Am Series cars .
The air flow through the body was a great idea ..

It's cool to see the whole GT40 team cars on one transporter !
Ah , the good old days , when they carried the race cars on an open trailer ..LOL !!

Seriously , probably the paint and body guy inside Penske did it .. They did a lot in house back then .
I'll have to dig out my copie(s) of "Unfair Advantage" and see if there is a mention of the pinstriper's name ..

Im on another board and a guy there has been in the racing game a long time. He posts pictures all the time and I think people here would enjoy them too. I'll ask if its ok to repost them here.

On another note, I have been going to some of the local car shows here and have noticed a lot of tribute cars starting to pop up.

There needs to be a "post vintage equipment / racing photos" thread.
