Willow Springs big course 8/13 and 14..... Axle seal fixed, new carb on the way, oil is changed, still looking into the oil smoke thingie... Hmm.

(BTW, the oil blow was not from the PCV, the hose is dry as a whistle. Bummer. Rings might still not be seated fully, I hope I don't have to tear it down).

I can't believe I am actually thinking about it, I probably suffered the worst from the heat than anyone, or at least I complained about it the most!

I'm already signed up for the Aug 26th @ Buttonwillow. The powersteering fluid cooler from Detroit Speed came in today, so I'm good to go. Come on Carl, it can't get any hotter there...right???????

I'll think seriously about the 26th event. Aack. Garage time for certain!

Some friends of mine and I are thinking about renting out Streets in early September for tuning and testing. If it flys, there will be room for a few more cars. We want to keep it down to ten cars maximum to get as much track time without traffic as possible. With ten cars, the fee would be $200. It could be very, very educational too, a couple of the guys are really terrific driver/instructors. No date set, but if there is interest, PM me. It'll be mid-week, keep that in mind.

Good call on the PS cooler. Do you have a P-pump with integral reservoir, or a TC with a remote reservoir? If your's is a P-pump with reservoir you may still have some issues. I've seen two fail that had coolers.

Unfortunately, I have to work on the 26th.

GM. It's specifically designed for Saginaw PS systems. Good heat capabilities, excellent anti-foaming, and available at every GM dealer.

It's just an integral pump, and I know I may still have problems even with the cooler, thanx for the tip on the fluid from GM every lil' bit helps. Mr Quick, since I have the hydraboost also, the brakes were feel'in a lil' wierd as well.
