Wiring kit + computer for 5.3L swap

Thinking of buying a 5.3L to play and test with LS type of engine. I have 700R4 transmission I can use for this engine.

I can buy 5.3L engine of a 2003 Silverado with 70k miles for $650,-. That includes a LS intake, fuel rail, TB and injectors.
The MAF, wiring and computer are missing.

Please advice about where I can get the wiring kit and computer for this swap. Also what MAF should I get.
Just the plain and simple wiring without all the extras like air conditioning etc.

      Thanks

You can get a conversion harness with relays etc and an ECM programmed for a swap for less than $500 from chevythunder.com. It has to be a 24 tooth reluctor and drive by cable though.

I have a friend that bought a 5.3 that came with a harness and I think an ECU; he won't be using any of it, I'll see if he still has it to sell.

If you want a reworked harness and programmed ecu, speartech, psi, etc, even ebay sellers can take care of it.
Be sure to get cable TB to work with the 700r4 TV cable.
Check rock auto for the MAF.

I just ordered my Programmed ECU and complete harness including sub harness's for coil packs for 700 from PSI. You can order direct from them or track them down on ebay. That breaks down to a $500 harness, plus ECU, programming, and sub harness for $200 for a total in the $700 range. Great looking harness and way cheaper than speartech. Shipped to my door in 3 days!
