      Budnik Wheels Promo 1971 Chevelle?

      Hello All,

Does anyone know who's '71 Chevelle this is? I would like to know the tire and wheel size stats. Here is a PIC link of her:

Here is a link to my '70. As you can see, I need to update the stance to pro touring, the tunnel ram pics are from around 1986. I have a complete tubular front suspension (not installed), I want larger diameter wheels. And yes, take the sky high station wagon springs out of the back end! Here is my '70:

The 427 and tunnel ram is gone already. She is now sporting a ZZ502/502, aluminum flywheel, 12" McLeod diaphram clutch, backed up with a Richmond ROD 6speed. Please help with my stance.

      Thanks & Regards, Jody

      Ok here you go...

It is a nice car. I seen it in the winter issue of the magazine "CHEVELLE" done by Super Chevy back in 2004.Sorry if you can't read it. I will try to make it bigger. It doen't look like it will clear up any, but here is the info:
Suspension: Frt: oe spindles, cut Hotchkis lowering springs, Hotchkis sway bar, Bilstein shocks and 13 in Baer brakes.
Rear: Gm 12 bolt w\3.31 gears, Hotchkis lowering springs, Hotchkis sway bar, Bilstein shocks, 13 in Baer Track System.
Wheels are 18x8 frt and 20x10 rear.
      Tires are 255\45-18 and 275\60-20.

      Hello Brent,

I wonder if this is the same Chevelle? The one you found has black stripes and the Chevelle on their web page has white stripes. The one you found sure does resemble it?

I really appreciate your time and effort to post the article.

Got any PICS of your '70? Is it a Chevelle?

      Thanks and Regards, Jody

sorry, I had painted it with a marker to see how it would look with black stripes. So it does have white stripes . Sorry about that.
      So it is that car.

      Hello Brent,

I would have to agree it is the Chevelle I have been looking for. I have to be honest, I guess it was the angle of the camera from the front that made this car look good to me. From the back, the tires look kind of small? Just to double check, are the rear tires are 275/60R20's? It is hard to make out the stats.

      Thanks again, Jody
