I tweaked a few things and turned this back on. Is it slow again?

OK, it's broken again. It is taking me three hits of the back key to get to the home page again.

      Thanks,

While going backwards isn't a problem but accessing a page is. It seems to take forever to load. sometime even timing out. It seems to be PT.com as I have no problems with other sites. I am running vista with firefox.

I noticed this recently too, when I accidentally left Javascipts on. var SECURITYTOKEN was the culprit, took 800-900ms to load then. Seems to be fine now.

Also make sure OpenX is updated, there is a huge vulnerability in one of the more current ones.

Well it is worse than ever. most of the time it takes almost 5 minutes to load a page fully. I have waited 1/2 hour to post a reply only to cancel it.

Hmmm... I found an issue I took care of on Saturday bit it doesn't look like it helped.

I can't figure out why it's slow for some people and fine for most. I have a feeling it's not my server.

Either way I should be placing an order for a new smoking fast server within a week and it should be running shortly after that.

      Larry,

I have noticed DB issues with VBulletin periodically over the last 2-3 weeks plus posting is S-L-O-W as a snail on occasion. I had a thought that maybe the DB needed maintenance and possibly rebuilding the indexes (assuming VBulletin has the ability to rebuild the indexes).

Well, I went to open the admin panel to look at the server load values and it takes several times longer than normal to load. So, I have asked the hosting company to look into it.

I am having issues with the back button as well. It will only work once, so if I open a thread I can't get back to the main forum page without clicking on forums and starting over.

It's back again. Three hits of the back key to get it to move. Same as before. This site only.

Sorry, we did a lot of work over the last few weeks to speed it up and it backfired. I hope to have it fixed before the night is over.
