Driving/racing shoes, what do you guys like?

While my Charger does not even have a pedal rite now, 2 of the other cars I drive around are sticks. Im working on my heel-toe rite now and the boots or shoes I have rite now do not give me the foggiest clue where my feet are on the pedal so I am having a hard time tapping the throttle. I started looking at shoes that i can wear to put some hurt on my current beater and want your input on what I should be looking at. I want some sole to em so I can still walk around a little when I get somewhere but a full tennis shoe is not going to fit the bill. I liked the a2z stuff, anything else I should check out before buying them?

Also i have been considering the Vibram five finger's. Maybe having the individual toes out would help out?
