      Chrysler 545 rfe codes

I have a 545 rfe behind a 6.1 Hemi in a 68 Charger, it appears to be in Limp-In mode anyone know how to get this turned off? keep in mind it is in my garage and has no interior so can't take it to a shop, unless I trailer it. THANKSName: Charger Home.jpg

Limp is second gear only. Should make a dramatic clunk going in to drive or reverse. Limp cannot be turned off. It is a fail safe when something is wrong. Only when that is corrected, will the trans shift. What year controller are you using and what harness? This should be a CAN setup that will require a scan tool to figure out whats wrong. Double check your input and output speed sensor connections and make sure they are not reversed. They will plug in either way. Really need to see the data to know what's going on. Sorry.

Who made your wiring harness? I had one made and it did not give the trans its 12 volts in the power wire so it trans did not know that it was on.... I can give you the pin out diagram from that connector and then just check that they are connected to the rite pins at the ECM as well as that the rite ones have power.

So, how do you know its in limp in if you have not driven it?

I am assuming limp in mode, since it would'nt drive into garage, also now it is on jack stands and the only gear that works is D2 and D3, as for the wiring, it is from Bouchillion and the car wires are AAW.
