      Steve Rupp's Bad Penny

I just want to say I was very impressed on Thursday when I saw Steve's camaro parked in the lot at his work. It was a 90 degree plus day and Steve drove Penny to work. Glad to see you enjoying her Steve!! I was going to stop by and say hi but the guys from Chevy High Performance were spending hours of my time shooting my 65 409 Impala for their magazine.

Yea, stop in and say hello next time.. I am on the first floor.. name is on the door!

It was hot but fun to drive.. took her to a local cruise night afterwards and got "best in show".. not bad for a race car..

Im gonna miss driving her when she goes under the knife soon.. but she will awake a new woman and I wont have to put gas in her every 8 blocks..

Not as old news as some other white 69 camaro. Your car is actually fun to look at.

You two guys are pretty well noticed. People might be asking for your autographs pretty soon.

I will stop by next time Steve. Wanted to this time but they were running me from place to place to get photos in the right light. I should have the Vette up there for photos in the next couple weeks so I will try to stop by then.
Frank- the 65 409 is rare. 2,800 409's in total for 65 year cars but lots fewer were SS Impala 409 4 speed posi with tilt telescope wheel, in dash tach and dual face am/fm radio. Lots of fun too!!
      R.P.- lets hope not!!
