      ls2/DSe header fitment

I was wondering who has the best header fitment using DSE subframe and LS2 combo. Im not spending 2k for some DSE headers but im looking for something with great ground clearance. Did different body mount bushings make a difference? Pictures would be helpful too. Car is a 67 camaro BTW

I understand you said do not want to spend the extra bucks for the DSE headers. I was the same way but then I just went ahead and got them to be sure I would not run into any figment issues with my DSE subframe and LSA crate motor. While they were expensive, I have to tell you they are works of art. Lots of room and they tuck up really nice under the floor.

Don't buy Dynatechs, I did now I am not happy with ground clearance! I have been researching a new set. Lemons makes a nice set for 1400.00 and Stainless Works are around 900.00. Go ahead and spend the money! My 69 has the DSE sub ls2 and half height sub bushings. It is low and so are the headers!

I have the Stainless works headers with a DSE subframe and standard height bushings on a Nova. Header clearance looks good to everything but my crossmemeber. The headers hang slightly below the bottom of the framerail, but not too low. What are others doing for a T56 crossmember with a DSE subframe?

all those high priced headers sound nice, I tried the dynatechs there nicely made and fit pretty good but I didn't like the 4 bolt collector setup, I used a mid length header from Sanderson headers (still hand made) around 300 bucks, the mid ones allowed me to have maximum ground clearance

the exhaust tube to the headers is in between the frame height and oil pan, and the oil pan is even with the lower cross member
