What to do with stoptech calipers?

I have a set of Stoptech ST40 calipers and 13" rotors that I took off a porsche that I sold. I would really like to make use of them, is there anyone that will make a custom setup with them?

Well, you can. Depending on your application, you can get the rotors redrilled for a different bolt pattern then set the calipers onto them. Pressurize them with either your brakes or compressed air. That will clamp them onto the rotors. Then you will have to build a custom bracket to mount them to the axle or knuckle you have. I doubt that you will find anyone to make you a custom bracket if they cannot get their hands on the pieces tho. Making your own pieces are not too hard tho, I made my own a couple years ago from thick steel plate

We talked with Stoptech a few years back at SEMA and if i remember correctly they are or were going to make an AFX kit. Have you contacted them?

I will contact stoptech and hopefully get an answer, it's just a waste of parts to have laying around. The calipers are stout and I tend to like them more than most other brands, except for brembos. I still have the kit I bought from you, untouched and in boxes. http://www.mattsclassicbowties.com/c...-us/d2365.html
I like the kit but I don't think it's very light.
