      Hello...Officially.

As one could probably tell, I've been lurking and posting some on this site already. Now that I've started working on my Camaro, I figured it was time to formally introduce myself. My name is John and I live in San Diego, CA. I have a 1967 Chevy Camaro that I restified in 1990 - 1991. She currently is set up as a somewhat stock street car with just a few bolt-on goodies. Drivetrain consists of 350sb / th350 trans and 10 bolt rear end. First order of business is dropping in a long block from enginesdirect.com. Basically just a Recon reman engine. I am planning on building the "real" motor (complete w/ fuel injection and one or two hair dryers) over the next couple of years. 4 corner disc conversion from Touringclassics.com and new wheels and tires are on the way as well. Since this will be my daily driver i will have to do things in many stages... Here goes!!!!! The third picture is from my first time out with "Camilla" in Chula Vista, Ca after the restification in '91. The second is her in her prime after moving to Fayetteville, Ar. The first is a tear jerking reality check as to her current condition after years of street racing, two collisions, doubling as a construction truck and sitting in various storage yards. It's time she received the rejuvenation she's more than earned.

I'd say "welcome to the site", but you've definitely been here a while.

How about "we're glad to have you"?
