      Blueprint drawings

Anyone happen to have any blueprint drawings for an '80's model Olds Cutlass?

I'm specifically working with an '87 but any '81 thru '88 RWD 2d Cutlass will work.

I've checked a few sites and there are actually quite a few blueprints out there for an Olds but it figures, NONE for the G-body. However I found a bunch for the FWD crapboxes from the '80's.

I downloaded a program called Blender to try my hand and 3D rendering and apparently the first thing you start with is a "blueprint" of the vehicle your going to construct. I figured I'd ask here before I start trying to make one myself.

      Thanks,
      Andrew

Something like this Oldsmobile Cutlass Brougham Sedan (1981) cutaway?:

Kind of but the Sedan model has more in common with the '78-'80 body style than it does with the '81-'88 style.

That's the closest one I could find, with a quick search. You could use that, and make your own modifications (remove the pillar post, shorten the frame/body, as a 2 dr from a 4dr, etc.), if you really needed to, otherwise you'll have to draw your own from scratch.

Another option, could you use '87 Monte Carlo/Regal drawings, and just redraw the front/rear designs of the body, to turn into your Cutlass, for your purpose?!

I think you'll have a difficult time finding the specific drawings for your specific year/make/model ('87 Olds Cutlass Supreme), as not a common interest vehicle for technical drawings, but Good Luck, however your project turns out! Wish I could be of more help, otherwise, sorry.

I meant to type more on my last post but my keyboard batteries died...

I appreciate the help. It looks like I'm going to have to borrow my mom's '88 Cutlass Supreme Classic Brougham and just take my own pictures of it to use as my blueprint. The only issue is trying to find a way to take a straight on top down view of the car.

      Thanks,
      Andrew
