      Jet-Hot comes through!

I had good reason for wanting to win the JET-HOT header coating auction in the Christmas benefit. I was in the process of finishing a set of headers for my "backup" supermodified. To be perfectly honest, I sent Jet-Hot a mess... This was a real "all expense spared" deal, using new and rusty tubes mixed with parts of old headers, some of which had old thermal barrier coating on them. It's a nice set of headers, but there were 10 separate pieces and the Schoenfeld mufflers were already welded on the collectors.

Randy and the people at Jet-Hot were great to deal with. One day Fed-Ex showed up to pick up the box, and 2 weeks later, a box showed back up. No "What the hell is this?" emails or phone calls, and I KNOW they didn't make their usual rate on this job... The results are BEAUTIFUL. Sorry, no "after" photos, as I'm not unwrapping all of it until I need them on the car.

Thanks again for the great work, AND for stepping up to help those in need! Who knows, maybe next year I'll have another set for you...

Stuff like this is great to hear so I know where to send mine when I build a custom set.
I am not useless, I can still be used as a bad example!

If I may ask, how do you package the headers to send off to Jet-Hot?

      Steve,
I just piled the pieces in a box with some closed cell foam in between them. Jet-Hot will re-wrap everything when they are done.
