      why does this happen?

Well being female and attempting a 6.0 swap into a 69 Nova is intimidating to most guys, or I get is that your boyfriends car... WTF at least the parts people help me and font question what I'm doing or treat me like I don't know anything.

      Sorry for the rant.

For the record cost me a boyfriend. He claimed I spent to much time with the car.

I'm a bartender and a chick that loves cars..

Being in the business, most of the guys I deal with don't really know anything, either, so don't take it personally! BTW, its a lot less hassle losing a boyfriend/girlfriend than a husband/wife!

Lost one or two gf's and one wife over cars, boats and motorcycles....hang in there one day you'll find a guy whose into cars of the same type and at the same level of commitment you are (like I did) everything will fall in to place and it will be amazing.

I agree...the keeper boyfriend is the one spending quality time with you...under the hood. If he didn't see that, he wasn't the right guy for you.

Cool car...I dig the Novas and Venturas. Solid, tough looking cars.

well any guy that says you spent to much time on your car was worth losing anyway- he must have wanted to spend more time watching Jersey Shore or some other hamster program -hope you pass him broken down with a flat tire that he has no clue how to fix. Women that work on their own cars is very sexy- you'll find someone who will appreciate it.- and lets see the car!! I consider myself very lucky that my wife was willing to dive in and help out with my buildName: Picture 002.jpg
