      Fox body fr500 wheels

      Fox body fr500 18x10
Hey guys just bought my 1st fox body... I am starting with a few brake and suspension upgrades I bought some cobra 13 inch rotors sn-95 spindles the wheels I am using are fr500 18x9 up front and 18x10 in the rear.... Now I am looking in to buy 5 lug rear conversion... I am not sure what axles to use range axles to keep the same width in the rear or should I go with sn-95 to push them away from the inner wheel well.... I don't want them to stick out pass the fender well (with sn-95 axles) or rub the inner (with range axles)....
I have a chance to get a sn-95 complete rear.... Any advice would work..?? Thanks

you can probably do a search on corral.net and find out what would work best.. the ranger axles might be the best bet bc you can get a spacer if the wheel needs to be moved out some. you will probably need a big hammer also

Those are great looking wheels. One of my employees has them on his black 89 notch w cobra brakes and they really make the car. His are charcoal centers

Google it. I can't remember but you need 2 right side aerostar axles or 2 left side ranger axles. Something like that.

Doesn't Ford Racing do an axle conversion?

I think alot of guys do the 94-98 rears. but just to be sure go on the corral and other latemodel mustang sites and ask around.

I would think that you won't want to go with the sn axles with an 18x10 back there, but you would have to do some measuring to be sure. I think that most guys running those FR500 are on fox width axles. But it also depends on your wheel backspacing, they make different bs options for those don't they.

On another note, I like the FR500 wheels but I was going with custom setup on my so I ending up doing custom wheels but I choose them because they kinda have a similar design to the FR500s if you look at the spoke design. I narrowed my rear 3" on each side and then had custom axles made that used the same offset as the stock fox setup. So you could also have them custom made to your specs for the brake you want to run. I also went custom on the brakes with a wilwood kit that was for foxes but with 9" ford ends.
