Protecting Suede?

I just got a pair for Corbeau A4's in black microsuede... Is there anything I can do to protect them from fading? All of my windows are tinted, including the windshield so they wont always be sitting in the direct sun. But it would be nice to not have to throw a towel over the seats every time I leave the car with the windows down or tops off.
Also, Id like to do something about water staining if I can. Would you use the spray stuff that people put on their suede shoes? My car is a T-top, so its not so water tight and I know I will get some water on them eventually
