How strong is the bottom end
How strong is the bottom end of a stock lQ9 6.0 the engine is from a 02 escalade. Do you think it will hold up to 8lbs of boost and about 600hp? Im thinking about something crazy.

But is it relaible, im balancing spending the 9G to bring my pontiac up to par or should I pick up a LQ9 short block and run with it? I want 8-10Lbs of boost and 600+ HP RELIABLY!!!

Yes, it should hold 600+crank reliably. I believe the guys over there will answer that it will also. http://ls1tech.com/forums/generation...-question.html
