wheel and tire selection for 68 GTO?

Hello, I have searched around and kinda found what I am looking for and think these should fit but I wanna double check with some wheel and tire guru's before I pull the trigger...

The car is a 68 GTO w/ full suspension from CPP drop spindles. 2'' lowering springs and coil overs in the front w/ 2'' drop springs in the rear and disc brake conversion from Matts Classic Bowties (right stuff detailing kit) I read the drop spindles will move them out 3/8'' in the front.

I have read the specs every which way and am not sure the back spacing and offset but the make and model selector chose them for my car. But I am unsure since I don't have a stock suspension anymore....

So I need to know if this wheel and tire combo will work?

Any help is greatly appreciated or even a point in the right direction! Thanks Andy

I don't have the answer, but first I would contact discount tire for specifics on the backspacing of these wheels before you order. From what I've read in the past it does some funny things that limit your backspacing options on the front. Because these wheels are cast 1 pc, they will only be offered in a limited number of backspaces. You may get more replies from wheel guru's if you can supply that info? You might also need to provide the type of front brake setup you're using.

I called and they are 0 offset and 4 and 1/2'' backspace on the 18's which I think I am just gonna do all around instead of the staggered, The brakes are from Matt's Classic Bowties and are made by Right Stuff Detailing 11'' rotors and from what I have read the drop spindles move them out 3/8s of an inch.

      Thanks Andy

You need to measure for the wheels. Since your car is modified the numbers likely have changed and you need to measure. Also you want to know the pad thickness and thus the brake clearances. You usually specify back space with wheels but as some here have found out the front space can vary. You don't want to get more dish in the front than in the rear!
For a 68 GTO the front fender lip at the rear curves inward. That is where I had my tightest clearance.
