LS1 help?

i was thinking about getting an LS1 new to the LSx engines, any advice to get the most rwhp out of it?
(ex. diffrent LSx parts, or type of maufacturer parts)



please share specs if possible and how its worked for you, thanks!

buy a new ERL ls2 block..
Callies CompStar LS1 434 Rotating Assembly, 4.155" Bore Mahle Pistons -4cc, 4.000" Stroke, 6.125" Rod Length - 24x reluctor
ls1 speed.com

do a l92 top end from texas speed
fast 92/92 or a 102/102 intake and throttle body combo
agressive cam such as the mother thumper lol or the ms4

9500 or so depending on the stage of heads and the valvetrain parts you go with...
this set up has seen as much as 620 n/a on the dyno

if you dont want something that agressive check out the list of mods i had on my 4th gen camaro
it put down 490 on motor 621 on n2o fquick.com/ls1leadfoot
i only had 4500 in it??
