Chevelle wheels
Hey guys,
I have been out of the loop, as for as hot rodding is concerned, for almost two years now, but I am just starting to get back to modifying my '69 Chevelle. I am currently looking to purchase some tires, 275/35/18 for the front and 315/30/18 for the rear. I think these will fit since I wrote the sizes down when I was actually doing stuff to the car. Can anyone confirm that these will fit. Also, how much is a nice set of wheels (i.e. Fiske, BBS, etc) going for these days?
Thanks,
Michael

Check out this tire & wheel database on the Team Chevelle forum for more info but yes, those tire sizes will fit your 69 Chevelle with the correct backspaced wheels.

Clint,
Could you give me a ball park idea of what width wheels and offset I would need?
Thanks,
Michael

On the front,a suggestion would be 18x9 or 18x9.5's with 5.5" backspacing on the former and 6" on the latter.
