Over at the chevelle tch forum i remember a post about 315's fitting in the rear with little to no mods, and I beliee it said 275 up front...I am sure once the car is lowered the 275 up front probably goes out the window...LOL.
'72 Chevelle- 4 wheel 12" Discs, Konis, Hotchkis springs (shortened an extra coil up front), 17" Cragar Soft 8's with 245's in front and 275's in back. ---STILL IN PROGRESS---

With trimmed lips, we put 305/35 18's under the back. They fit great with the 3" drop. Everything tucks in nicely. The fronts are only 245's, since we didn't want to chance rubbing our first set of tires for SEMA. We may go to a 255, but I don't think we can go any wider with the 3" drop up front.
