Hi from NE Ohio

Just officially joined, but have been lurking and reading the forums over the last several months.

I'm from Louisville, Ohio and I have a 70 Nova (originally a 307 manual 3 speed car) that has a 10.6:1 350 with a BW Super T10 4 speed and a 3.73 geared 8.5" 10 bolt. It's a street legal driver which sees the 1/4 workout multiple times a year. Best so far is a 12.79 at 108mph with only using the first 3 gears. I race with the UMTR North division which is a manual transmission only group that runs several dragstrips in northern Ohio through out the summer.

Over the winter, I will be swapping in a new suspension along with a Doug Nash 4+1 5 speed and clutch setup. I have a couple of goals for the car:



1. Looking for low 12's or high 11's around 112 - 114mph.
2. Looking for better handling wise for the street side.

I understand dragstrip and handling suspensions are on the opposite side of the spectrum in regards to suspension setups and I know my setup will be a somewhat of a compromise on both sides.

Over the last several months, I have read and learned a bunch on the handling side and will be asking questions on my front suspension setup.
