Size: 201.7 KBMachined aluminum caps that are attached with cap screws. Forgeline is very proud of them. Quality is top shelf.

Size: 227.4 KBI could not resist posting this picture. I think the minitubs and big tires make the car. The Forgeline wheels fit great and look even better.

Great choice. I am a big fan of all black wheels or black centers with polished lip. So I did like your photoshop. But the wheels you chose suit your car perfectly. With the chrome on the car a polished wheel looks right.

      Reactor,
Do you have any under car pics of the side pipes? I want to go with side pipes but can't find a good solution to route the exhaust?

I do not have any good undercar shots that show the headers. They are Hooker Sidemounts that are now discontinued. Here is a picture that shows some from the wheelwell. I will try to get some shots next time I have it on the lift. Name: IMG_3892.jpg

Can you post more pics of the car with the wheels? The car looks great. I wanted to see the front wheels too, what offset and width on the front did you go with?

Here's a pic that shows the front. The wheels in the front are 18x8 with a 4.9" backspace. It has the factory spindles on the car. Frank @ Prodigy hit it perfectly for the front. It has some lip to it and the center of the wheel does not stick out from the outside edge of the wheel. 245/40/18 on the front. If not for the pipes, I could lower the front a little more, but I am at the limit and mercy of the speed bumps around. Thanks for all the positive comments. Name: IMG_3938.jpg

I don't have any video on the car. The pipes sound just like the Corvette side mounts that Hooker still makes. I bought these in 2006. You could only get them in chrome and small block only. They were discontinued soon after. I sent them to JetHot and they coated them. I then found a car and built it around the pipes. When and if I ever go LS, I guess they will have to go, but they do sound good with the solid roller cam. Reactor

I saw your wheels at Eric's when he got them mounted. They looked nice. You have the tubs complete and pics yet?

Maybe it's an age thing, or generation gap, not entirely sure... but I've had many discussions with my cousin about how there is a lack of a color uniformed wheels out there. BOZE, Forgeline, etc... higher end companies offer you whatever, however. But for pre-built custom wheels I've always struggled finding something I like, in a uniform color. I prefer an ALL black wheel. No ring, no rivets, no mismatched center cap. ALL black. I think it is the most aggressive look not only for vintage cars, but new cars alike. Wheels are like women and music... if everybody had the same taste, it would all get boring real quick. ;)

For whatever it's worth, I've always found that a black centered wheel with a chrome ring has too much contrast. Makes the wheel look smaller. 19's look like 18's, 18's like 17's, etc. Just my thoughts!
