I missed this thread before, just saw it browsing the project forum....but I will be able to see it IRL when it comes back to the Netherlands.....that is very nice to know :-)

The interior is completely custom designed with everything inside being one of a kind. The theme here is clean, modern and super high tech. The iPAD in the dash will give the driver full functionality of the iPAD as well as will control all functions of the car including the modern heat and A/C. Behind the actuator controlled movable iPAD is the Pioneer stereo head unit that will take commands via bluetooth/WIFI from the iPAD and play all iPAD functions and sounds through the custom designed stereo system. The custom machined rotary knob on the console will control stereo functions and amplifier gain without having to lower the iPAD to access the controls. The iPAd will also display sensor data collected from the cars many sensors.

The custom designed seats will be covered in Italian leather with Alcantara inserts and will feature heating and cooling elements. If you notice there is also a vent in the headrest called the "air scarf." This will enable the driver and passanger to blow a controlable amount of heated or cooled air on their neck according to the exterior conditions. This will all be controlled by touch on the iPAD. The console will also be refrigerated to keep drinks cold on road trips.

The driver will use their cell phone to remotely unlock the doors to the car and once inside they will dock their cell phone into the integrated dock on the console. Once the four digit passcode has been entered into the touchscreen on the console, the car will come to life. The iPAD3 screen will then display exactly what is on the drivers cell phone. The driver will have touchscreen control of all the apps and functions of their phone through the iPAD3 screen. These include navigation, Pandora, voice activated functions, Siri, hands free calling etc. All functions of the car will be controlled via the 7" touchscreen on the console (Rendering does not refelct this). When the driver has reached their destination, the car is turned off with a touch button start button on the 7" touchscreen and their phone is removed from the dock. Once the driver is outside of the vehicle, they will use the phone app to lock the car and set the security which will put the entire car and its systems to sleep and cannot be stolen.

Nice! I see you're using ISIS on this build; I'm using it on my Project GNXcess as well. I like your ideas on the cell phone/iPad3 integration. I am planning something similar. G-body cars like mine are known as being very easy to break into and steal, and I'm doing everything I can to prevent that. Keep up the great work!

Jeff made the buckets for the Marker lights.. He took a mold from a C6 and laid his own glass buckets that he will fiberglass into the vette body..

It reflects light like real titanium but with flat look..

These lights are fully adjustable and replaceable... Think it will look bad ass when finished..

Some very impressive ideas are going into this build! My own C3 will seem like a tinker-toy in comparison.

Take a look at these.... Jeff sculpted the fenders. Then photoshopped the mesh and spears on to show how it will look....of course it will look much better when finished but you get general idea.

Adjustable backing plate for HID headlights.



Mounting HID's in housing and then we will fabricate a 3D painted cover that these headlights will slightly protrude through. This makes them fully adjustable and easy to change the bulbs.

These eliminate the turn signals that are now in the headlight buckets and also the lower bumper mount. It also gives the grille a more bulky modern look.
