Check out our new X-Factor cross member for Gen 2 GM A-body! Saves weight, bolts up almost any transmission and provides clearance for up to 3.5” exhaust tubes in your 1968-72 Chevelle, GTO, El Camino or other A-body hardtop.

This X-Factor cross member bolts to the A-body frame just like an OE cross member, but features the correct dimensions to hook up your favorite automatic or manual transmission.

Made in the USA from laser cut T-6061 aluminum using their new modular construction, this X-Factor cross member is incredibly light and exceedingly strong, perfect for street or track applications.

All stock parts are powder coated in metallic aluminum or gloss black (shown), come with grade-8 hardware and have been tested to 1000 ft-lbs of twist load. Applications include the TKO, Magnum/T56, Muncie/T10, Richmond, T350, T400, 700r4, 4l60(e) and Powerglide.

Fits all hardtop 1968-72 Chevy, Pontiac, Buick and Olds A-bodies.
