62 nova steering box help
The steering on our 62 nova is worn and sloppy. Is there a way or is there someone that could rebuild one of these? Is there a nother type of steering box we could purchase. Any info would be appreciated. We are using a stock clip.

I don't know about 62 Nova's but there are usually two adjustments on a manual box. one is the input shaft bearings which is usually a large threaded end plug on the end opposite the input shaft. Loosen the large jam nut ring and tighten the plug just enough to remove the play. Then adjust the top screw to zero lash.
