This theory has been around for a long time. I'd love to see wheel/tire combo tested on a high speed balancer...

Id love to see it on a road force analyzing balancer. The heat generated inside the tire would have to be a bad thing for a performance tire I would thing?

I recall this similar theory being used on the crank of Harley engines using a mercury filled tube as a balancer. Harleys are notorious for vibration due to v-twin cylinder angle and crank design. Most of the builders that tried it thought it was worthless marketing. I realize a motor is alot different than a wheel, but still...? Originally Posted by SLO_Z28
