      Mike,
It was a great time dueling it out with the likes of Tom and John, they are some fierce competitors...plus the smack talk with John is always fun! I'm still laughing over the comment you made after co-piloting in my car.."I don't know if it was a fast run, but it was violent" That's a keeper!! Hope to see the Nova back in action soon. It was great seeing Angela, Michelle aka "Hotrod girl" (love you're Camaro!!) and Cheryl out there tearing up the track, (you gals owe me a ride in your cars next time).

A friend sent me some links to Youtube videos someone posted from this past weekend, thought you would all enjoy.

      Busted.

Yes, it may by shameful, but I think John K has already proven that the girls are good luck. Heck, Deb was in his car when he had his fastest run. Hmm, Kyle was in my car for the fastest run.....well, he is a handsome fella, guess that works too...ha ha. I do know John is not good luck, heck I spun out and shot the idler pulley off the car when he rode along.....but then again, we were laughing our butts off the whole ride.

A few pics. We didn't get any pics of the cars on the autox, but wife shot alot of videos on Sunday. We have a slightly older camcorder, so they're all on a dvd. If I can figure out how to convert them to a digital format, I'll post em up.

I really wish I would have took some photos last weekend. Someone needs to remind me to get a rhythm going where I can run the track then grab my camera as soon as I get back to the pit area. This may require me to have special parking at the track entrance. :-)

Jeff - did you get a video of your run when I was with you? Did you figure out if the video camera was working or not?

      Michelle,

I'm sure the video camera works fine, the moron that was operating it...not so much. The Go-pro is suposed to default to HD video when you turn it on, some how mine was set on single picture mode....so I have a picture 5 sec after I turned it on for our run. I was not happy when I downloaded the files and had 5 pictures total that were all prior to the runs. It was a shame because the frame of view was perfect and I would have loved to had the run with Angela in the car....it was funny as he**. She was making a squeeling noise all the way around the track...I thought it was the tires at first lol......I'm hoping she gives back the door handle she was clutching on to :-) I was hoping you had taken pics of the event, you took a great shot of my car in Pigeon Forge, it's one of my favorite pics!

Squealing?? That's hilarious. I already mounted the door handle on my toilet, it makes a great flusher....

We talked all the way home about our next project. It's time to go faster.

I had such a great weekend I don't know where to begin. We finished Kenny Jrs. camaro (a 3 year project) one week before Charlotte, put 100 test miles on it and then we drove the camaro and mustang to Stacey and Kyles just in time for the always great open house. Saturday was Kenny's first autocross and I was thrilled with his and the cars performance. He had a best time of 40.3 but leveled a couple of cones, which is the only reason he didn't smoke my 40.5! I felt nothing but pride watching my son kick my butt! He also logged 1600 plus miles on his first road trip with no troubles! Congrats to Tommy, talk about kickin' butt! It looked like Jeff and John had their Vettes keeping you on your toes! It is always good to see everyone .
