Power steering pump upgrade time
I'm installing my serpentine set up. The donor was a 93 chevy truck. My issue is now my original 73 camaro pump has a keyed shaft and my new pulley is a press fit. So I think it's time to upgrade pumps. I plan on running hydroboost brakes also so I need to keep that in mind. Any Suggestions?

My only suggestion would be to find a pump application that was originally fitted with a box type steering and hydroboost... Mid 90s GM diesel pickup maybe?

2500 and 3500 HD Silverados 99-07 had factory hydro boost optional. This uses the "type 2" gm pump too, which is better. You can get the parts necessary for this swap at KRC.

No need to worry about the hydroboost here...are you installing the complete serp setup from the 93 motor?
