      Another exhaust question clearance question

Is anyone running 275s in the rear and flowmaster exhaust to the back?

The reason I ask is that it seems there is not a lot of room for the exhaust tips.

And my 255 would rub ever so slightly

My rear wheels are 17x9.5 with 5.5 bs and will be here mid july, so I wont know for sure till then.

Measure something for me. From the face of your hub to the exhaust pipe. What aspect ratio are you going to run. I will assume 275/40/17. What size exhaust pipe are you running. If you are running 3", I seen this cause all sorts or problems. Give me those dimension and I'll lay in out on my cad system. I like to keep a minimum of 3/4" of clearance to avoid rubbing, but that my opinion, others go alot tighter.

By the way. I live in Boonville, work in Columbia. Nice Project.

i am running the same rim size as you with flowmasters and 3in torque tech exhust. i have the tail pipes dumping right after the tires and i had to ding the tail pipes where the tires would rub sometimes. there is not much room you have to get them right in the middle of the tire and leif springs.
