      Forza Motorsport 4

The demo came out today and all I can say is the game is fantastic. The physics are much better, no doubt due to Turn 10's new partnership with Pirelli. The lighting is amazing, and the "white fuzz" on very angled surfaces has been eliminated. They worked with none other than Pixar to get it right and it shows. The car list has been expanded and now includes an early 2nd gen Camaro and possibly a late 2nd gen Trans Am (crossing my fingers for the latter.)

When I heard about FM4 a year ago, I was kind of upset thinking it would be a rehash of FM3, but with some Kinect Gimmicks. That's not the case and I can't wait for my LCE to show up in the mail.

Anyone else out there excited for this game?

add me to the list. I played the demo last night and was blown away. If you race the ford you can see what kind of older cars are in the game. I believe if I remember correctly there was a 442 olds, 2nd gen firebird, 69 camaro, 70 chevelle, 70 mustang...thats all I can remember atm...I cant wait. User name is hummdeez if you wanna play.

I hope it plays better than the last forza games. IMO grand turismo plays better.(but the latest installment kinda sucks)

I already pre ordered mine, it will be here the 11th which is the day it comes out. I did this thru best buy since you get some sweet cars for pre ordering it thru certain places

I liked playing Forza 3 because you can do drivetrain swaps. That is actually what got me started with the AWD Charger. I had the 69 Charger in the game, drove it around then did the drivetrain swap and really liked what the results were. Next thing I know, I started talking about building my own for real

Well f%$#, just got an email from best buy that the platinum edition that i ordered is now not available to me. They are offering me the regular one but Im still pretty pissed. I ordered it probably 2 weeks ago, figured that they would make sure they had it ready to be sent to me

If it only lives up to 3/4 of the hype it will be the best driving game ever

Forza has always been more fun than Gran Turismo, but the graphics of FM3 compared to GT5 were terrible. If the graphics and physics are better it should easily beat GT5. GT5 has been one of the most frustrating racing games, sometimes I just want to set up a race for fun but it sure made it difficult...When is the release of FM4? As long as its before January so I can play it when I get home haha

EDIT: Also can't wait for a late 2nd gen (I wonder why), always used the '73 in FM3... Now if only upgrades from DSE, Baer, Wilwood and other companies big into pro-touring were offered on there...

Just did some reading adn there are some people that have hacked their xBox's to do multi screen. If the kinect features with head following work that would make this game absolutely amazing.

For anyone now playing Forza 4, you should check out the Pro-Touring club. Jon made it and the tag is "ProT"

Yea, I got it yesterday. I proceeded to show just how responsible I am by playing until 6 AM this morning.

The Indianapolis autocross in rivals mode is pretty fun. The '65 mustang I set up for it is now in the pro-touring club garage.

I got the Trans Am and Mustang you guys sent me. I was surprised by how faithfully Matt recreated my car. The only things to really change would be the exact color, the lack of a hood bird, and more power . . . which would put it on the awkward low end of B class so I can totally see why you wouldn't do that.

The first car I bought with my own in game credits was an '05 Mustang that I set up for C class. My fox Mustang is now also a C class car. And so is the Trans Am. I'll have to take some forza pictures and post them in this thread.

Here are some in game pictures my friend took.

Im not willing to release my gamer tag since its the default one that xbox game me and its pretty lame. I will be changing it to Motorcitydak soon

By the way, I have already built my AWD Charger in the game.....its pretty much awesome. My only complaint so far is the tire size, they for some stupid reason wont let me put my 315's on all 4 corners

The really important question here is what times are you guys getting in the reasonably priced cars? I have raced he Liana and the Cee'd so far

I dont have the game yet. Do you have to play a bunch to unlock cars or do you get a good selection right away?
