      Wheel offset question

I'm more versed in working with backspace numbers than offsets as the latter is usually quoted in millimeters. My question is this: what backspacing would a 17x8 wheel with -10 offset have? I think it would be around 4.1" but am not sure.
      Thanks,

go up to the sticky above for plus size calculator play with it. enter in your dimensions for your tire and your offset in mm and the picture will show you your tire profile and dims in inches.

a 17x8 wheel is actually 9" wide so 0 offset would be 4.5" back spacing....and after subtracting 10mm you are right it is 4.1"

Thought it was 4.1" but wasn't sure. That's why I asked.
