Dakota Digital VHX Control Box Mounting Location for Camaro

I am in the process of installing a Dakota Digital VHX gauges in a 68 Camaro. I am not sure where the best place to mount the control box would be. I would like to have access to it without removing the cluster but there is very limited room. If anyone has done this and has any good ideas please let me know.

This is a very old post, but for anyone else, mount it where it belongs, in the area behind the console, you know those two column post that support the steering wheel, attach to those with 3/8 tube mounts, and fab a piece of metal, Im doing mine now, this is rough as I have a new harness ordered so disregard the wires.
